Leaving Texas was a bit of a debacle. Our route from Dallas to Mexico City connected through Houston with a 1h30m layover, so I got a little worried when we received a notification that our 4:00p flight was delayed 40 minutes. Our flight to Mexico City was scheduled for 6:40p and showed no indication of being delayed, but Houston Hobby is a small airport, so I figured we’d still be fine. Well, that 40 minute delay ended up being just about an hour and a half and we landed at . Even though we heard the weather out of Houston was bad and that most flights were being delayed, our next flight still showed as being on time. Thankfully, this wasn’t one of those flights where everyone stands up immediately to wait in the aisle, so we were able to make our way to the front of the plane pretty easily.
